Welcome to all the unfortunate new users of Retrospec. You should know the unnatural changes of the world also affect loved ones outside the city, who are oblivious as the non-Retrospec users here; you might also experience some physical changes or receive unwanted things in the mail. Usually at the start of the month, given others' accounts. Anyway... If people were being very insistent. (Very.) And refusing to take no for an answer, what type of birthday present would you ask for? P.S. Indecisiveness is unhelpful and not the point of the post, please refrain from posting so unless you have some idea.

Do you have a lot of those? Because otherwise that would be pretty intense.

I have a few.

You can usually find them online for inflated prices.

... The convention is coming up, so meeting them in person would probably be doable.

That actually sounds like a good opportunity. Are you going? Even if only to see them.

I'm working at the con this year.

Signing stuff according to my manager.

It's not bad. But talking to people can be hard.

At least they're restricted in time to keep the line going. Can't imagine being paid to sit still and get praised by people you don't know.

I'm used to sitting still. Praise is okay if you tune it out a little. It's not like I've done anything big.

So what's your line of work? Still big enough to have some autograph work so it can't be that niche.

[glaciers]

Any kind of work I can get.
Usually it's reoccurring characters in long running series.
I get ads sometimes too. Those don't pay as well.

Still good for a resume I guess. Every little bit helps. Is it troublesome to have a manager?

[glaciers]

Not really.
They're very good at finding work for me.

[esperimental]

Acting life always looked excessively glamorized considering the invasions of privacy some end up getting, and every little mishap being turned into widespread gossip. But for the time being you seem to be fine so... that's good.

[glaciers]

If you're popular enough you can get big checks. That means all of that is worth it in the end. At least for me. I can't speak for anybody else in the industry.

Financial stability's always good, so there's no shame in that. How long have you been acting?

[glaciers]

Since I was eleven.
There are probably some ads on Youtube now.

About the next production you're co-starring in?

[glaciers]

Those are probably there too.
But I was talking about the really old ads when I was little.

[esperimental]

That influential? I would've been on the impression they shift to new things all the time.

I underestimated the type of roles you get.

No, I think somebody thought they were funny.
Old commercials are still around if you know what to google for.
I don't know if they still get a lot of hits.

Oh, that type. My apologies, I never really used Internet much before Retrospec.

Despite keeping an excellent track record at school, of course there will be things I don't know about.

Why are you apologizing?

It's good to have high grades. Do you know what you want to do?

For misunderstanding. That doesn't usually happen.

Not really. The best I have is "something most people probably won't do because they find it difficult".
