Which all comes down to, no, I don't think Retrospec is being framed, by any means. I just think there's something even larger going on here.

yeah, let people know this isn't some excuse to punch people until they're unconscious. we're trying to make sure that people can actually defend themselves in case something like may happens again and give people a place to figure out if they've got any memories of fighting. it all depends on if people want to actually KNOW if they fought in some alternate life, but it beats finding out when it's actually important

think about it this way: this is a company that thinks installing its app on your phone without any way to opt out, removing entire colors from the world, and shrinking everyone to bug-size is a completely normal and acceptable way of doing business

and that's without mentioning giving people memories of their own deaths or killing people

do you really want to know what kind of shit they think they can get away with by calling it a GAME?

pretty simple, nobody on the network notices what's going on

they change your eye color or your hair color, you'll get comments for a little while. but after a couple months they've all forgotten and it's like you've been that way your entire life if you ask them

when we were all six inches tall, anyone not on the network just thought it was normal. it never occurred to them that if we were all that tiny we would've built stuff that size in the first place

they're like zombies aside from the whole brain-eating part

I certainly don't trust her. I just find her more tolerable. She isn't anymore straightforward than Jim is, but her tone is neutral and she doesn't actively mock us. There's a lot more unknown variables than just her, anyway.

maybe they'll start describing different shades of reds by using it as a benchmark. "cardinals: vibrant grell + 1 level toward white"
