The structure above was built in the 7th century BCE by two legendary architects, Trophonios and Agamedes. Is it: A. The Palace of Knossos on Crete B. The Temple of Apollo at Delphi C. The Pillars of Hercules D. The Colosseum of Rome Trivia aside, color me curious: what's the most unusual place or thing you've seen thus far in your "hallucinomemories"? That you're willing to tell someone about, of course — I'm not seeking to pressure anyone into revealing secrets they wouldn't be willing to share with the class. (Or, I suppose, if you're playing along with those bingo cards we were given and need to share something with a stranger, responding to something like this would certainly qualify, wouldn't it?)

...You make it sound as though your memories are of some kind of ritual being conducted. Is that the case?

Yes, but not primarily religious in nature. It was kind of court introduction ritual, I believe. The protocol 'I' was trying to remember had much in common with 10th-century Byzantine imperial court customs, only even more elaborate.

That's fascinating. Were you already familiar with those customs prior to the memory, or did you have to research them to match them after the fact?

I was already familiar prior to this. At first, I thought this...memory...was a result of too much time studying and not enough time sleeping.

But you soon discovered that it was something very different, I presume. More vivid, more real, somehow too...something to be pure imagination?

What I remembered was too brief to truly say one way or another. But where just me could be dismissed as just an over-tired graduate student living on coffee, cannot be so easily dismissed with multiple people having similar, multiple experiences. [though it still defies logic and they're not happy.]

Did the other people have the same vision as you, though? Meaning, they also recalled the Hagia Sophia?

No. But I hesitate to come to any further conclusions about mine until if - when - I remember more.

I see. That's probably the most prudent way to address it — with healthy examination and reflection, but without jumping to unfounded conclusions.

Comps alone are more than enough stress and worry. I can't afford to jump to conclusions over a fragment.
