something like that. my past self was just fine with eradicating entire villages for no apparent reason other than existing in the wrong place at the wrong time.

i suppose i should be grateful i'm not so screwed up i think murder is the optimal solution compared to, i don't know, negotiation. or even imprisonment. [Why couldn't this guy have just taken prisoners! That would have been fine. A whole village in prison is at least a hundred times better than completely dead.]
