who else feels like their "past self" should have remained dead? i can't be the only one.

unrelated: has anyone had the misfortune of being granted injuries or scars from their past lives?

I think I might have done some bad stuff in that life, yeah.

I think I killed someone, at least.

My eyes changed color, but I haven't gotten any injuries

We've had a few. The docs are starting to get used to seeing people about them.

Color me skeptical about the idea that it's unrelated, though.

fine, it's slightly related. i was just thinking about a memory i received recently.

It covers my entire left eye. So yes, it is.

Yeah, they turned yellow, it was weird.

I took someone's heart from them, but not...literally? It felt a lot like killing her, but I dunno.

I can still see out of it.

i suppose that's less brutal than what i've seen, at least.

i've been told there are doctors on this application, so i would recommend asking for one if you haven't already.

[For once, that kind of advice is something he'd actually follow himself. Most injuries he doesn't care about, but these kinds of things are bad enough he wouldn't want to risk it.]

though if it makes you feel any better, i'll supposedly have my face cut in half at some point.

That's much worse. I have a burn scar from boiling water over the left side of my face.

You might want to talk to a doctor before your face gets cut.

it was from a weapon made from plasma, so at least it wasn't bleeding. [Instant cauterization! Hurts like hell but is still somewhat helpful.]

i'll certainly be contacting one if and when it happens, i assure you. i have no desire to just leave something like that.

A small blessing. If you can call being cut in the face that at all.

Good. Better to get something like that looked at before it becomes a problem.

something like that. my past self was just fine with eradicating entire villages for no apparent reason other than existing in the wrong place at the wrong time.

don't wait too long. to be honest, i'm not sure it would be so easy to cover up something like that enough to hide it from your own mother.
