who else feels like their "past self" should have remained dead? i can't be the only one.

unrelated: has anyone had the misfortune of being granted injuries or scars from their past lives?

not remained dead, per se, but I remember my past self being turned to stone. I don't remember how it led to it or why it even happened specifically, but it would also have been relatively decent penance for some of my other memories.

they had to have died for us to end up here in the first place, though i suppose stone is as good as dead.

any memories of mythological creatures involving snakes?

the lack of context just means that i can't exactly tell whether i was revived back from stone or not. it's a mystery that has to wait for another day, apparently.

... ha. do dragons count?

it certainly makes basilisks and medusas more likely. though i wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of dragon that could petrify people on its own.
