Hi guys, I have kind of a weird question, so bear with me... Would you trust this chicken to manage your real estate properties? How much would you pay a chicken for a job like this? I wish I was joking, but I think past-me once employed a chicken. As a manager. Really.

It's because you're seeing the other person's memories through their eyes. They're not you, just like the other man in my memories isn't me. We might be similar, but our histories are different.

I know sometimes the things we remember can be pretty bad.
But we were still like that before.

But that doesn't make it true.
You have to accept yourself for who you were.

If you made mistakes, promise yourself you won't make them again.
That's the best we can do.

And what if other my was a terrible person?
What if I saw myself be awful to a a friend of mine in the other world? Just treat him like nothing and walk away while he's slowly dying?
How am I supposed to be the same person as him?

Then you would know why you were like that.
You haven't lived the life you remember, so the choices you would make are different.
You can understand why, but that doesn't mean you'd do the same thing if you were in that situation now.

It's something that I don't want to think about.

It's something to avoid.
But you can't avoid it if you don't know what to look for.

The reasons why you did it.

I know I joined the yakuza because I wanted to belong somewhere.
I wanted a family.
Knowing that, I know I wouldn't need to do that now.
I already have people I care about.
I don't need crime to fill that.

He showed up in my other memories. We traveled together, and I think I trusted him.
