so hey, anybody else think it's kind of weird all of this stuff is happening lately and the 13th is on a friday this month? i am just saying.

but because of that, i want to ask you guys something! superstitions. do you believe in them? do you have them? what do you think about the really common ones like broken mirrors, walking under ladders, oooor…you know, black cats crossing your path? and by crossing i mean maybe like crossing and weaving through your ankles and probably tripping you on the sidewalk while following you around town?

just wondering. for no reason whatsoever.

Still karma. Or perhaps just justice. I think technically, karma isn't supposed to take effect until your next life.

what side are you on with the whole idea that we are the same as the people we are remembering? some people feel really strongly about one way while others are on the opposite end.

The woman in my visions is not me. Retrospec seems intent on turning me into her, but I refuse. She has had another life, another world, nothing like me. Even if she is real, and even if they do everything they can to make me into her, Cleo Ritter's life has been totally different, and I am not going to become someone else.

you're not the only one to feel that way, i think.
a lot of people have been confused about what they are supposed to do with everything that is happening, and there are also other people who feel that the two are not the same.
but at the same time then, do you think that what we're experiencing here is karma? stuff that happened thanks to those people back there.

An interesting question, but no. Retrospec did this. Their actions, if they are even real, are unrelated. The true problem is Retrospec.

Not really. She has her own life. I have mine. I'd be far more interested if I wasn't getting her life put into my own.

i guess that makes sense.
are we losing our own lives by having someone else's added to them, do you think?
that is the other thing i have always wondered.

I wish I had an answer for that myself. I think that is likely Retrospec's goal.

To overwrite us. To use us as the soil to grow those whose lives have already ended.

hm. that is a pretty shitty thing to do to us then.
what would be so important and special about the people we are remembering that they want to regrow them? if their lives ended already, what is the point?

mostly because it sounds sort of unbelievable.
on the one hand, it sounds unbelievable. on the other hand...maybe i sort of like some of the memories i am getting back.

I do not. If their intentions were pure, they would have no need of hiding it. If their goals were noble, they would be asking for help, rather than the rest of this. If they were honest, they would tell us what was going on, rather than refusing all communication. They are likely the source of all our problems.

that's looking at it in pretty black and white terms, isn't it?
i mean. maybe they do not actually know what is coming or what is going to happen, or they are cleaning up someone else's mess.
why face a bunch of angry people if you cannot answer all of their questions yet?

If that were the case, they could tell us that much.

would knowing they do not know what they are doing really change that much?
i mean...i know a lot of things about my old life now that i still do not entirely understand. but at the same time i am not sure i can be mad about it and even if i did understand there is not much i could do to change it.

Yes. I cannot trust that which I know nothing about. As of now, their motives and reasons are unknown. And they show no interest in working with us. They are belittling us and ignoring us.

i want to see what else they do before i decide, i think.
but i also have only been here for a month and a half.
i think…with everything i am learning about myself it is too early to say either way.
but i cannot say i blame anybody else for thinking that.

They are changing my body into something else. I have woken up with ears not my own. And a tail. The visions they have put in my head have caused harm to myself and others. Until I see evidence of other intent, I can only see them as evil.

like i said, i cannot blame anyone else for feeling that way.
especially given something like that.
hopefully we will figure something out soon.
