so hey, anybody else think it's kind of weird all of this stuff is happening lately and the 13th is on a friday this month? i am just saying.

but because of that, i want to ask you guys something! superstitions. do you believe in them? do you have them? what do you think about the really common ones like broken mirrors, walking under ladders, oooor…you know, black cats crossing your path? and by crossing i mean maybe like crossing and weaving through your ankles and probably tripping you on the sidewalk while following you around town?

just wondering. for no reason whatsoever.

once you start putting things like luck and fortune into the process it lessens your own contributions to life

i will also take that as a compliment.

when you put it that way, yes, that is true.
but on the other hand there are just some things that happen that even heroes cannot explain or do through their own effort and they need a little boost.
you can contribute all you want, and that is fine, it does not really lessen your own efforts, but what about things like...i don't know...suddenly learning how to use really cool powers to save a whole planet from burning down?

but then how do you explain things getting fixed at the last minute even when the hero does give up?

First of all movies aren't real
Second of all its possible for things to just happen in a way that is helpful without it being due to something like "luck" getting "lucky" is just reality happening to align with what you wanted. It can only be increased or decreased with your own actions

...it is possible, yes. i did not receive the cat in the mail or anything, she has just been following me everywhere for days and finally i picked her up and brought her inside.
but dave seems to think she might be from the same universe, yes.
it would explain some things.
even if it raises a whole bunch of other questions.
i never really felt like she belonged to me specifically. more like i have seen her before.
