Dear friends, it is a great pleasure and honor to have been invited by the good people of Retrospec to test their new social media service, and it is my sincere hope that I will be able to utilize it as a platform to spread awareness of various charity events and volunteer efforts taking place in our good city. Social media is truly a wonderful, far-reaching thing, and I am very grateful to have been selected for this trial. My name is Lunafreya Fleuret, and I currently volunteer at various clinics throughout the city. Many of you likely know me from my time at the university, and I am excited to get in touch with many of my old friends and fellow students! If I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting you, please do not hesitate to reach me on this page; I would very much like to get to know you! Perhaps you can bring Evie along! I walk them almost daily, so there are plenty of opportunities for them to get acquainted. I would love to meet her, also.
I know the feeling wholeheartedly. I host them now and I still feel this way.
But I suppose that that's the nature of the beast. There are all sorts of people in the world, so it stands to reason that one shouldn't be able to click with all of them.

Of this I have no doubt. If she's half as amicable as you are, I am certain we will all become fast friends!
I did, though my family never hosted them themselves. My parents were very much involved with high society, so charity events were the norm.
As a girl, I never quite grasped the scope of such events... but the years have given me more perspective.
Though the intent behind such events is often lost in their execution, they certainly acquire results.

My dad was really rich. So we traveled a lot and we'd go to parties like that, too.
He really liked to invest in the sciences especially and start up businesses.
So it wan't exactly a straight out charity? But he did a lot of good work!
I didn't really get it either when I was a kid? I just thought hey, cool, a party!
So the fact that you're working this hard now and putting in so much effort is amazing to me.

Lunafreya Fleuret Puppies certainly are a joy to have around. I do not know you well enough to comment on your character, but you seem to be a self-assured sort. If you believe you can devote enough time and care to a puppy, I encourage you wholeheartedly.
Lunafreya Fleuret But, as you've mentioned, if you are working... It may be difficult to rear a puppy on your own. I can offer my assistance in a minimal capacity, but I would think it best that you form that bond with it, especially since it will be your first dog.
Lunafreya Fleuret I would think that an older dog would afford you more freedom, and I believe I would be in a better position to help you in that regard, as well. Umbra and Pryna are always eager for playmates, and I would be more than happy to walk yours alongside them from time to time.
Lunafreya Fleuret Ultimately, the decision is yours. The animal shelter seems to have many options, too, so you truly are not limited in terms of the choices you have.

Lunafreya Fleuret Ah, alright. I am glad to hear that, then! And I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to socialize whatever dog you decide to get with my own. They may be beasts when it comes to poor Professor Izunia over at the University, but they are well-behaved otherwise.

I would never deign to suggest such a thing, but if I did, wouldn't that speak of how sterling your character is already? If stains lent themselves to it, I mean. Perfection is intimidating and lackluster in its own right.

And I suppose it is your excess of vanity that prevents you from being overly upset that my beasts veritably bowled you over? A strange sense of narcissism you must have, to make light of such a terrible affront.

[ It's true; despite her unease, she doesn't peg Ardyn as a particularly vain man. If anything, he's the opposite... Or at the very least, he appears to be. ]

It is with no small amount of sheepishness that I admit to deferring medical school in order to focus on volunteering, yes. Many have called me foolish for doing so, and perhaps I am. But I find that my bleeding heart can scarcely ignore the suffering that happens upon my very doorstep.

What can I say? I'm an oddity. Full of both forgiveness and vanity, and when the two mix, it leaves a lasting, if not confusing impression.

People are too quick to confuse a bleeding heart with naïveté and foolishness. But it hardly matters. They may not realize it like I do, Miss Fleuret, but you're actually very stubborn. You'll not be dissuaded by mere words, will you?

I appreciate your concern, Miss Chloe. I cannot say with honesty that I have never overdone it, but temperance is a hard learned lesson. I know that I'm not good for much of anything if I've collapsed from exhaustion, but I admit that I have a tendency to wear blinders when I have a goal in mind.

Ryoga Hibiki It's nice that they have an efficient railway system. Even if you miss your stop, you don't have to wait long for the next train. Also, I miss the food. However, Tokyo is very crowded. So if you ever visit, try not to get stuck there during rush hour.

Lunafreya Fleuret I would assume that Tokyo would share similarities to Recollé; almost all metropolitan areas are similar to a degree.

Lunafreya Fleuret I've only heard stories of the famed bullet train, but I would very much like to visit one day to experience it in person! I am also certain that any Japanese cuisine within our city cannot even come close to rivaling anything from its country of origin. It's nice you get to visit your relatives every so often, though. I've not seen any family members who don't reside within Recollé since I was a child.
