Welcome to Retrospec™, the last social media network you will ever need. You are one of the few selected to test this exciting new platform based on our cutting-edge algorithms. As a reminder, everything besides uploading a profile picture and information was locked until this post. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

[She'll be in the park, sitting on a bench near the playground and reading while she waits.]

[it is quite fortunate for prompto that he was close to the park, and that his scooter was full to the top with gas. it takes him about the time he had promised for him to arrive, and he's strolling towards the playground with the desired comforts in hand.]

[with a big smile, once spotting the girl from the picture on the retrospec app, he approaches her.]

Here we are! One cinnamon scone and a skinny vanilla latte, delivered in time!

[...he's yet to properly work out his trademark phrase, but this'll do for now.]

Oh, and your receipt.

[She's somewhere between impressed and amused.]

Wow, such great service! Thanks.

[Iris sets the script she was reading on the bench and pulls out her wallet. Besides the price of the items and delivery fee, he's also getting an extra twenty just for actually rolling with her sudden whim. Best thing she's pent her parent's money on in a while.]

So what's your name? I need to know who to give the great yelp review to.

[Okay, so the app actually gave away their names, but that seems too impersonal.]

Prompto Argentum! At your service~

[he does a bit of a curtsy--part of his charm and all--after pocketing the money into his vest's pocket and smiling wide at the generous tip.]

I do deliveries now and then, so you can always just contact me if you need something. If I'm not busy, I'll be able to get you your desired whim. [he decides to take a seat beside her, to enjoy the scenery. this is one of his favourite places to hang out at, anyway.]

What's your name?

[She stifles a giggle at the curtsy. That's kind of adorable.]

Iris Amicitia. Very nice to meet you, Prompto.

[Iris leans back on the bench and takes a sip of the latte. Mm, perfect. In the back of her mind, she's already coming up with further excuses to hire him.]

So if deliveries are 'now and then,' what do you do the rest of the time?

The rest of the time?

[grinning, he crosses his arms over his chest]

The rest of the time I'm a photography student, so I spent part of my day studying but mostly photographing things. And, when I'm not doing that or working deliveries, I volunteer at the animal shelter. Otherwise I'm just playing videogames.

It's a tight schedule, Iris, but it works for me. [a playful knock to his tone]

You're a photographer? That's so totally cool!

[She doesn't honestly know much about photography, but imagines something very artistic.]

So like, national geographic stuff? Or more like fashion photography?

[And he goes to school, volunteers, and still has time for video games? And here Iris thought her schedule was rough.]

Neither! But I can definitely do both. I try to do more on people and the environment as it is on a day-to-day basis.

[it's... artistic in a sense] Oh, would you mind if I took a picture of you, actually?

Of me? Do you ask all the girls that?

[She flashes him a slightly mischievous grin.]

Seriously though, I don't mind. Just make sure you get my good side.

[prompto laughs at her comeback. it's good! it shows she has some spine, and she should probably not be taking those offers from any other guy who asks for her picture. but prompto is prompto]

[he takes out his camera, and adjusts through the settings]

Y'know, you shouldn't be allowing anyone to take a picture of you just because they asked. [giving her advice!] But I promise to use your photograph for good, probably in the portfolio I have to put together for class.

[aaaand, steps back to get a good shot of her]

A big smile, please!

[The chance to tease him a little is too good to pass up. Iris waves a hand dismissively.]

Oh, I know that. Don't worry, I only make exceptions for cute boys.

[She'll give him a brilliant smile and a cute pose. No extra charge.]

Should I say 'cheese' too?

Got me there!

[he's already taken a picture of her, but takes a couple of more in the same moment]

Cheese is kinda cheesy, isn't it?

[he taps on the screen of the camera to see the pictures he's taken, and heads on over to her with an accomplished smile. he passes it over to her, so she can check herself out.]

They came out pretty nice.

[She laughs and shakes her head.]

Super cheesy.

[And when he's done, she takes the camera and flips through.]

Wow, these are good. You made me look super cute!

Really? I think the object for attention on the photograph--or in this case, the person--must be cute in the first place. Photography can't do magic like that.

[but he'll take the compliment!]

I can take more professional shots with the proper setup some other time, though.

[he smiles, going through the photos himself again, before turning off his camera]

Could even print these out and give them to you when I do? If you'd like!

[But the roll of her eyes and flippant tone are really to disguise the blush on her cheeks at the implied complement he just tossed her way.]

But yeah! I'd love prints if it's not too much trouble. I might even take you up on those professional shots sometime.
