[ After her meeting with Ardyn, where a strange and bizarre conversation took place about dreams and feelings neither of them could quite put their finger on — though Aranea was more keen on dismissing them as flying fancies rather than anything monumentally important. She’s conversed about tattoos over one too many aging bachelors to count, and though her discussion with the law professor had the distinction of being a tad more personal, it ended up being too out of the ordinary.

Practically hiding in an alleyway, the entryway to the Tisse establishment demarcated by two nightclubs closed at this afternoon hour, Styx still manages to win the distinguished honor of being the liveliest place along this street in Tisse. While not completely dead at this point in time, with a couple people getting touch ups on their tattoos in the back, Aranea sits behind the reception desk and watches a comedic TV show on the aging company computer used mainly to book appointments, white earphone wires resting against the thick of her blonde hair. Every now and then she either sniggers at a joke or casually texts somebody, one such victim being a certain delivery boy she’s encountered on Retrospec, Prompto. ]

[it did take prompto a bit longer than expected to find where aranea's little shop was at. he did stop a few times to check his map, but also to shoot her a few messages with pictures of his surroundings to check with her. it's with relief that he reads styx on a building.]

[he parks his scooter, turns it off and gets off, and whistles as he approaches the establishment with a bag of the desired contents hanging from his hand.]

[--woah, he didn't expect the place to be, like this. ah! someone at the desk; he approaches with a big smile]

Hello!

[ A bell rings when the delivery boy enters her tattoo shop. Aranea straightens up, most likely recognizes the kid’s youthful features from his profile picture. Pulling her earphones off and pooling them into a tangled mess over the keyboard, she stands up from the tall chair in order to fetch her wallet from her back pocket. ]

Nice — you made it here in one piece. After the third picture, I confess that I was beginning to have my doubts.

[ Clearly the curse of paying cheap rent was that the location wasn’t all that great, but Aranea’s not one to sweat the small stuff. She wasn't the original owner of this establishment, there was a whole other story behind that one, but it was too much of a pain in her ass to haul off to a whole other place.

Folding open her wallet, she takes out thirty dollars in cash and holds the payment out to Prompto. ]

Keep the rest, you’ve earned it.

[he does glance around the place, even as he pockets the thirty dollars, and is immediately taken on by the different designs throughout. he really seems out of place with this scene, but this is totally a scene prompto doesn't feel out of place from.]
