Oh, this is incredibly illegal. But shutting my eyes and not even looking at it won't get me any information on it. But you can't do that without engaging in the platform. It's ingenious, really.

But I'm doing well, Professor. Preparing to get roped into overtime for Founder's Day, but that comes with the territory.

Oh, you know. The usual. Falling asleep in class, eyes glazed over. Occasionally, there's one that's actually paying attention. If only more were as focused as you had been.

They're setting up the patrol rotations for this weekend. General street-level security, keeping an eye on things.

Hey, you made the course work interesting. Their loss if they aren't paying attention. Double their loss if they intend to continue on to law school. L1 will destroy them.

As great as all the criminal units were, the thing I've used the most off the clock? Your class on contract law.

Feel glad that you're doing good work. There is a used car salesman out there in the world who got driven absolutely crazy because I wouldn't let him rush through the sales contract and gloss over details. He deserved it. And it's all thanks to you.

I don't regret my choice, even if my original path would have worked out well. I think I'm a bit too physical to imagine myself staying in an office all day.

Well, now that you're no longer my professor, I guess I get to ask the question. What got you into the law?

You can blame familial pressures for that. High expectations and goals that they had hoped would transition into a career of politics.
