Welcome to Retrospec™, the last social media network you will ever need. You are one of the few selected to test this exciting new platform based on our cutting-edge algorithms. Less than two hundred invitations have gone out, and membership is not currently open to the public. However, we hope you will come to see how useful Retrospec™ is, given time. We have for your use a variety of features such as text, voice, video, and image posts. We encourage you to explore our many options.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. As a reminder, everything besides uploading a profile picture and information was locked until this post. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

Hello, Ms. Menodora. :)

If you want my suggestion, maybe a dog. They're more active than cats, most of the time. And they don't claw you.

Yukiko! I'm so glad to see you using this too! 😊👌

And of course I would love to hear your suggestions. As always, it makes a lot of sense. It would be nice to have a jogging buddy alongside me and not getting scratched up during attempted bath times is a big plus.

[Oh geez teacher the emoji...]

That's what I was thinking too. I've always thought dogs were nicer than cats because you can actually take them outside.

[ please pray no one ever tells her what the eggplant and peaches really mean. she's been spamming her own parents with those ones for years. ]

Dogs are darlings but I think cats are just a lot more aloof from my experience. Seeing as how my parents used to own a kitty. His name was Chester and he was a sweetheart to everyone.

Until you had to walk him during the weekend mornings. Suddenly our little athlete would could climb up a tree and conveniently forget how to climb back down for a while. 🌳 🙀 🚒

[…Yukiko doesn’t know either, so…]

That sounds like a cat. I know so many cat people, but not enough dog people.

It’s really kind of a shame.

Anyway, did this app not strike you as weird?
