My name is Ainsley Menodora, as you probably know already, and I'm a teacher for Recollé Elementary. I like books, stargazing, and weekend jogging. 📚 🌟🌟🌟🔭 🏃🌅 = 😍!!! Here's to hoping we can be good friends and swap lots of funny pictures and videos together!

At the moment, I'm planning on adopting a furry friend at the animal shelter in the future to keep me company. Does anyone have suggestions on which breed or specific friend who's in the shelter I should look into? I would love a very active and friendly buddy who wouldn't mind cuddle times and kissies from me 24/7! 🐕 ❓🐈❓

I have a very cuddly cat that I think mama got from the shelter! but if you want someone more active, perhaps a puppy? will you bring him to the school? do I get to meet him?

That sounds like a dog might be a good choice for you, if you have the time and the energy. I have a dog myself, a standard poodle, and he's energetic, cuddly and very friendly.

If you want to adopt a pet that's energetic and affectionate, I think a dog would be best. Maybe even a big breed like a golden retriever if you have a yard for them to run around in. If not, terriers are active too.

So many people are recommended me a dog that I'm definitely looking into one as my first adoption. I think maybe a terrier or around that size is the best. Haven't left my apartment after all this time so there's not a lot of room besides a a buddy or two. 🚪 🐕 📺 😲 [ it's just been her and her books and the photos of her students, past and present, during activities at school. ]

There are countless lovely pets here in the shelter that fit those requirements... cats and dogs both, and even some rodents. Do you have any other requirements or preferences? I can probably narrow it down.

For my other preferences: I'm definitely looking into a dog after discussing it with others here. Maybe a middle-sized one like a terrier or a Bichon Frisé, since I live in an apartment at the moment. In terms of age, I am leaning towards getting an adult dog. One who is sweet-tempered and great with kids.

I hope I didn't go overboard with the details! I just want to make sure I give my future friend a good home with me.

Do you have any suggestions when it comes to stargazing spots, Menodora-san? I can't really see the sky very well from my apartment or atelier.

Although I like cats and dogs equally, dogs would probably be better considering your preferences.
