that was pretty fast tbh I'm impressed

i mean its been like nine days and i had good inspiration
besides after school i worked on it some during study hall at school and in art class too & i have no other commissions atm
the wayfinder thing was the one that took the longest since the other two are smaller and i had to think real hard about what kind of color to make it since blue didnt really seem like your thing

I'm still getting used to blue even being a thing again

[Later on, Marina will find Terra yawning at one of the open tables in the library, pressing his pen against a notebook with a text next to it. He looks like he's been going at this for a while, with tired eyes and his hair starting to droop down in front of his face. When she shows up, Terra's yellow eyes will roll to the side and spot her. Or at least, who he assumes is her from the profile picture.

He raises a hand casually.]

Hey.

[She made it without dying! Success!

It's not too hard to miss Terra, all she had to do was look for the tall hot one with brown hair and she was pretty set. At least he's sitting down, so she doesn't have to endure his Whole Heightedness. The yellow eyes are a surprise though, she's not sure if she noticed those in his picture or not. Maybe she'd attributed it to lighting?]

[She waves a little and plops down in the seat across from him, placing her bag down on the table in front of her.]

You look bored as hell.

[Yeah, about as short as he expected. He stifles a laugh with the back of his hand.]

Look where we are, it'd be an achievement if I wasn't bored.

[Raises an eyebrow.]

Nice to meet you in person, though. I guess.

[rude??? she's perfectly respectable, you're the ridiculously tall one.]

[She puts a hand against her chest in mock betrayal.]

It's nice to meet you, anyways. I can't remember, did you ever mention to me what you do in the library? I remember you said something about being in youth outreach.

[She props her elbow on the table and leans her cheek against her hand, staring over at him.]

[She straightens back up to retrieve them from her bag, holding them up with the strings looped around her fingers.

The wayfinder is as close as an imitation as she could get, though the glass, due to her one part not being able to do anything with glass and two part having no way of knowing it was glass from Terra's beautiful drawing, is a red gradient, carefully painted. He seemed kind of like a red kind of guy to her.]

Since you weren't very specific what you meant by "friend charms", I kind of used my own imagination for what a matching set of charms for two very close friends would be like, judging from my impression of you and what I've glimpsed from Aria by staring real hard at her picture. I figured if I came here with two heart halves with BFFs written on it you'd be giving me a real disappointed stare by now.

[They're smaller than the wayfinder, imitating the same shape of the shell, but an entire star rather than laced together in pieces. One is painted carefully to be like an ocean with the waves breaking, and on the inside is a small heart, popped out as an additional piece, in a red. The other is painted like a sunset scene, reds and oranges and yellows, with a heart in the middle with a blue that matched the other. Hopefully he'd like it??]

[They're still hanging on her fingers, but he can't help reaching out to grasp the wayfinder and slide it off, pulling it towards himself and grasping it in his palm.]

It's...pretty cool. [He stares into it for a long moment. It does look a lot like Aria's...He wishes he could ask her a little more about it but...she's been hard to get ahold of lately, hasn't she? Well, there'll be time later...He slowly looks back up to Marina.]

...Pretty girly. Can't say it's not pretty much perfect, though. Thanks, Marina.

[But the charms get a more curious look from him.]

...The hearts make it a little romantic, don't you think?

Well, my thought process was that hearts seemed to be so important in our little section of the worlds, so why not play on that? Plus that sort of Hallmark stuff where they say "your friends are in your heart" and whatnot, and to kind of play on you being important to each other and always with each other since you were saying it's like friendship, but on a even higher level. Buuuttt, if you're worried about it, I can fix it.

[Terra waves his hand. It's fine, it's fine...He smiles as he digs out his wallet and flips it up onto the table.]

I should say though...I never specified that the star charm and the friendship charms were for the same person, you know.

I figured the star charm was for you so you could have one like your friends. Is it not?

Like Aria's. [He'll just. Unsubtly snag the other charms from her fingers, looking at them closely.]

[Waves it off again.]
