Greetings and good evening, Ninja Warriors. With less than a week left before the big event, I think this is a fine time to hear some stories of your training exploits over the past few weeks. How have you been finding the course? Are you bonding well with your team — or, if you're going it solo, are you feeling confident about your chances of victory? Which obstacles are you finding a breeze, and which ones are proving to be your greatest nemesis? I want to hear all about it.
As for me, I've committed to taking on the course while wearing a pair of these, and the Sandiego Foundation will be making a contribution to a charity of the solo winner's choice in the amount of one thousand dollars for every obstacle I clear. (Which I intend to be "all of them".) If you're interested in joining me in the attempt, let me know; we're happy to sponsor any and all takers in the fun.
The big day is coming up fast, so remember to save the date, keep training hard, and I'll be looking forward to seeing all of you out there next weekend!

it's a really neat idea
i was proud of myself for being able to run in heels
but i'm having a hard enough time with the course in my regular shoes
so i can only guess the heel-practice it would take!!

I'm sure my feet will regret the attempt after I'm done, but hopefully the rest of me won't.

but like
if its for charity im not opposed to learning to do the entire damn thing in them

I'm feeling particularly generous, so I might even buy you the shoes.

Will you be coming out this weekend? To spectate, even if not to participate?

what a waste of footwear if you ask me

Besides, these aren't your ordinary shoes. Seems like someone went the extra mile in making them durable; I've tested them out and they can take a lot of punishment without a scratch.

jimmy choo's really outdone himself this time
but now it kind of looks like you're endorsing these heels and that this entire obstacle course is just one elaborate fashion show to show them off
not bad

Laurent isn't strictly interested in Ninja Warrior but, maybe for charity? Also, he could use a good distraction from worrying about his brother in Paris. ]
We do not have this sport in Paris, that I am aware. I have no interest in playing to win a competition, but for charity I may try. I see it is an obstacle course of sorts?

[ He does go to the gym regularly, he isn't out of shape. Although this is a little less... elegant than he's used to. ]
I could likely generate some sponsorship of my own, too, although I'm not certain about the heels.
[ He could pull them off as a look, he thinks, but he doubts he could run a course in them. ]

Major respect for anyone how can walk in those on flat ground. That's difficult enough!

Apparently, shoes like these have been a constant for me across lifetimes, if Retrospec is to be believed. They sent me a pair in the mail.

Double the heel experience plus free shoes! If only Retrospec would stick to gifting footwear to people.

I'll buy you a pair, if you ever decide to get daring and give them a try.

it's probably a good backup skill to have??
