Honestly, that's what I want to know, but I think it's referring to the fact that we've had "other lives" and maybe how we were picked to... remember them? It's pretty hard to explain.

Some people found some reports that seemed to confirm that these memories really are ours and that we're the people in them.

To be completely honest, I don't really know. It's hard to say because Retrospec could be lying to us about everything but at the same time, it doesn't make sense for them to do this elaborate scheme and give everyone their own personalized memories or worlds. It's way too complicated for that.
At this point, I think it's up to each person on whether or not they want to believe if these memories are real. I also think people wouldn't really blame others if they choose not to believe in them.

I see. This... is a lot to take in. I guess it really wouldn't make sense for all of this to be some kind of sick prank, though.
But I'll probably have to wait to see exactly what it's like to get these memories before I can really decide for myself, huh?

The nice thing about the app is that it connects us to a bunch of people who are all in the same boat as us so at the very least, you have a lot of people who understand what you're going through. Most of the people I've met over the network are pretty nice about this stuff and in general.
