Honestly though, there are so many different takes on a Wendigo, it's like anyone can make up their own legend.

I think those are the ones that end up surviving the longest as well. Creative stories have staying power in cultures, and people are more likely to remember them, I feel.

To be honest, I never thought of that.

I don't think I could give you an answer since I always find something to love in all of them.

But I guess I do have a fondness for vengeful spirits, I suppose? Especially women taking revenge.
