Correct on all counts, with a few clarifications on number 5 — they do sometimes conduct polls about what we'd like them to "fix". Evidently the resources that go into maintaining the "reality" around here are finite, and can only be applied incrementally over time.

I see. So am I safe to assume that "we've re-stabilized green" is referring to this?

That's right. In early July, I believe, the colors blue and green completely disappeared from the world. They've only now just restored it in its entirety; I've had gray eyes for the past months, for example.

Blue was "fixed" first, so people with blue eyes have had them back for a little while now. That's what I mean about the resources being finite; it seems they can only fix things in small pieces.

So it's not particularly surprising to hear that they've fixed green, only to break something else.

No, I wouldn't imagine so. It seems less like they're actual fixes and more that things are purposefully malfunctioning.

[ At least, if all this is true and the intentions of the programmers are more vindictive. Given the nature of discontent everyone's showing, it's easy to assume as much. Even honestly playing with the real possibility of an unreality or multiverse is...too much for a regular Friday night. ]

It's equally surprising that no one else would notice that the ocean isn't blue anymore, but if only users of the app were affected, or if only users were privy to that information, no one else would notice. The former seems more likely, though.

I'm not sure if it's that we're the only ones affected. There've been changes and happenstances that everyone was certainly subject to, but we were the only ones who seemed to be conscious of it.

For example. You don't recall everyone in the city shrinking down to the size of mice, do you?
