Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. That's exactly it. The living thing we sent in said it was "dark"...so we need a way to combat that.

If it didn't come from the mailbox, it'll trigger those failsafes for not belonging in there.

Various "pranks", and it spits the items back out. I think it spits out anything that didn't come from inside...from my experiments.

Specifics for "pranks" would be helpful.
This couldn't physically come from the mailbox, but what do you think about a phone application on a normal phone? Not Retrospec. A different magic one.

I saw someone chased by paper airplanes and someone get soaked and similar things. Nothing lethal, but the main point is the mailbox spits back out things that don't belong, so for our purposes things that do would be better.

As to a phone application...it would be worth a shot, perhaps?

Trial and error doesn't sound too bad. The owner of the phone I'm thinking about is Mimori, if you know her/think you'll be better at convincing her to help than me.

I'm not great at making an argument, if she refuses. And I don't want to damage the phone.
