Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! No recording or light devices though I wouldn't expect my Other Self to be concerned with photography or flashlights so that doesn't come as a surprise. Why do you ask?

I'd like to record the inside of the mailbox.

Right. The mailbox doesn't accept items that Retrospec didn't give us does it?
Half the battle would be preventing Retrospec from stopping or erasing the recording wouldn't it?

It's worth a try, but it is pointless to try without things that would actually make it inside...

I hope someone comes forth with a recording device you can use. It's definitely worth an attempt.

Have you heard anything unusual about the mailbox? I only know about the unfortunate photograph that James posted previously. I don't know if anyone else attempted to do something to the mailbox.

No. But I haven't felt it worthwhile to try to destroy it.

I doubt it is. Retrospec would simply replace it without a word. There are those who are so desperate to strike at them somehow that they might attempt something. You never know what creative ideas they'll come up with for that mailbox. Or the waffle house next to it.
