It is a shame. There is some knowledge of composition there, but little knowledge of the finer details that make real-life sketches sparkle.

For example: why are your eyes dead? It is fairly simple to add the spark of life to a drawn eye...

Yes? If someone has put the effort into drawing it, it's only fair to critique it properly.

Dismissing people's sincere attempts at art without offering them the chance to improve is why so many people lose heart in the arts and choose to leave it in favour of other careers.

While the eyes are lacking the detail of light sources to give it the reflection that makes them look alive... the shape is not bad. It is fairly accurate, although your eyes do not tilt downwards in that way.

The general shape and thickness of your hair is quite nicely drawn, but the angle and directions in which it flows are off. It just looks messy, rather than flowing or styled...
