Hello, everyone! As you've probably noticed, we've been having a few problems - I mentioned earlier that something got knocked out of balance, and we had to recalibrate, but in a few days we should be able to drop the emergency measures. Please be aware that there is an incoming storm, class four. General orders for that kind of thing are to report to management for any known threats and follow instructions, but so far what's known is "that might be a little annoying" and "hope it isn't". Theoretically it'll probably be related to the holiday, I think, because a large group of souls focused through the needle of a pin on one thing can sort of shape a thing around them. That's sort of a really inaccurate way to put it on the technical side of things, but I think it's the easiest way to understand it! At any rate, we'll know more once we're in the thick of things. Please take care as usual; resources aren't exactly what some of you seem to think they are, and we had to expend rather more than usual in the past month or so to keep things with a few of you steady. [ He wonders whether it might not be better for Lalli if the other Jamie is actually mean?... since then there's less chance that the guy Lalli likes would like Jamie better. Unless he's into mean people, at least. (And given the fact that the concept of other-Jamie bothers Lalli to the extent that Lalli now dislikes the name itself, this Jamie thought he might have more negative or resentful feelings toward him...) But hey, if Lalli's feeling magnanimous about it, there's no reason to drag him back down. (And Jamie--this Jamie!--certainly shouldn't do anything that might have a negative impact on other-Jamie, who is of course a complete stranger, may be perfectly nice, and certainly doesn't deserve to get shit from some random duplicate he's never heard of.)

(Although Jamie is not himself on any kind of consciousness-altering medication, it has in no way occurred to him that he just might know this mysterious strange Jamie very well indeed.)

[In the end, as selfish as he is, the strength of his low self esteem and his desire for Minato to be happy win out. He might be overjoyed to have him around the same living space, understanding all the odd bits and pieces of his mind and heart, but... It's better this way. He doesn't even really have anything to offer except the bed of a woman dead for over a year.

Wow, that's a really interesting combination.
One time I was ordering online [ when he was high ] and I chose almost every topping individually, and then it ended up being super expensive. I should've just gotten a "supreme"...

Well it depends on the situation. Like if someone said "Do you like supreme pizza? It's my favorite!" I wouldn't think to myself "Oh no, I have to pretend to like it!"

If I were visiting their town and they were letting me stay on the couch or something and then they were like "Oh I made us dinner!" and it was a supreme pizza. I'd just eat it. (I mean, I'd also say thank you and everything)

Sort of... but a joke is more like being clever in order to make someone happy, and all I was doing is being dumb for no reason. (Although sometimes I feel like I'm being serious about something, but then I realize it was actually stupid and made no sense the entire time?) (I mean, I do kind of zone out a lot. My mom says I'm a natural airhead.)
