It was that... gut instinct I mentioned, back when we were tracking down the traitor. I thought, with all the other strange stuff down there, it might have been influencing it, but... I still have it, for whatever reason.

Some people did say it may have been a sixth sense or something I regained, so maybe that's it. It's just so... distracting.

Oh that. I've been curious about what made you able to sense that traitor in the first place. Besides the obvious, there must have been something in particular that helped you track him down.

I don't blame you, getting used to these strange abilities is a challenge on it's own.

... I'll try to. I'm not sure if sensing things is something you can master, exactly, but it would help if these feelings weren't so vague. It was easy to pinpoint the person we were chasing, since the feeling they gave off was more dangerous than anyone else in the group, but...

I thought I would have at least picked up something from you. You have to have some sort of sixth sense yourself if you can do that with your swords, wouldn't you?

At the very least, I think you will come to a point where you get used to that ability to where it doesn't distract you as much. That's quite fascinating, so you were able to sense the traitor because of how dangerous he is.

You haven't picked anything up from me? I do find that a little strange since my abilities are far from normal. Could it be that you are just used to be around me?

It would help if this feeling let me know why he was more dangerous, though. I mean... we already knew he was a threat when we were tracking him down, but I don't think any of us knew what he was capable of until we already dealt with him.

But I don't think that's the case, on your end. Even if it was a matter of exposure, I still would have felt something whenever this... ability kicked in. I have to pay attention to what triggers it, so I can try to figure out a link to all of this.

For now, though, I'm going to have to find a way to ignore it, if I'm going to get my schoolwork done in peace.

Plus it's not like he did anything too special besides place traps for us.

Hopefully you can figure out what that link is. Maybe when you do, it might not be as distracting?

I hate that it's so distracting for you, Xiaolang. I suppose the best thing to do is hope that you eventually get used to it. If you need help with your homework, you can always come to me or borrow my books.

I'm not too sure about that. He did do something to our eyesight. Or... mine, at least. And Rin's. I'm still not sure how he managed that.

But hopefully, yeah. I'll know what to avoid to set it off, anyway. So far there hasn't been a common theme with any of it. I thought it may have just been people, but I picked up stuff from the stones in that pit, too, so it's... strange.

I don't like it either, but... I'll try to manage. As for schoolwork, I don't need any help, but...
