I don't think they even pretended... I didn't see them trying to repair damages when they broke my friend's ribs, or what they destroyed of my boyfriend's clothing.

The only reason we can get away with it is because we can't find anything more than messages and buildings.

Oh I know well that it's mostly pretense and the most generous description of Retrospec are a pack of inelegant fools barely handling a power they can't hope to control or understand. And while they say they are doing this for us, ostensibly, I have very little faith in them and imagine we'd be doing just as badly without them.

It's enough to make me want to remove their heads from their shoulders.
