You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! Typically when people believe in something, they have support for their beliefs. I can say whatever I want too, but that doesn't make it true.

No, it was not.
It was by the combined efforts of others and their wish that saved others.

Wishing has little to do with it. Very well... I acknowledge your point, but how are those people to survive even after they're saved? Even if someone out there wanted to do something nice, the individual is still responsible for their own survival after the fact. One action doesn't equal or negate a lifetime of struggling.

It is the wishes of others that make anything possible. A wish becomes a goal, after all.
They may be responsible for their own survival, you are correct, but if they start to slip and fall, they will have others to help them.

It's not optimistic.
I merely said no one struggles alone.
I didn't say that the person with them is helping them.
Merely that the person there will become their wish and goal to overcome.
No one is alone in their pain because it will call to something.
One hopes that what hears them is "good."
But it will not always be.
Yet when a person has another person to make their wish.
Their suffering becomes manageable.

Or they really are alone. Some people are solitary. It's not always a case of not being able to reach out, but choosing not to. Sometimes it's not worth it.

Of course, it is worth it.
The person just decided that it isn't.
The only people that can live alone is those that don't care about anything.
They don't care about the feelings or thoughts of others.
They don't care about their happiness or unhappiness.
They are the ones that are alone.
Not the suffering.
The suffering will eventually find the hands that will hold out to them.
Society is numbers and those numbers will not allow a suffering person to be alone.

Right. If that person is alone, then that pokes a hole in your belief system, doesn't it? Even if it's by choice, that person is alone. Surviving by themselves of their own free will.

Even if what you're saying is correct for most people... mostly "good" people... Even those good people don't always care about others' suffering if they're "bad." Because it's what they deserve, isn't it? A lot of people believe in that dichotomy... It influences their behavior far more than they realize... Especially if they are "good." They strive to be good and uphold those good ideals all while shunning anyone they believe is bad. They perpetuate the problem.

And you still end up wrong.
