You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects. some people have mentioned monsters
but no one's told me what they look like yet

It varies, really. The areas outside the city are crawling with them still, if you want to see for yourself. Sometimes there are others - February was very aggressively Greek, there were things like chimeras and something that I assume was supposed to be Arachne.

but that does sound really interesting

It wasn't so much directly fighting as it was evading that one; the person I was with had less of a good time than I did, either way, but I enjoyed it.

Usually they don't stoop that low, thankfully enough. They just all like to be as unhelpful as possible and overwhelm the new ones.

You get used to things sounding rather insane after a while, either way.
