You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects. She didn't exactly tell me, but... she said something in it. And Cantonese isn't something she'd pick up out of the blue.

[So, you know, in pure Mio fashion. Probably didn't help they were doing that ladder thing in Respatrum and he almost slipped in surprise from it all.

But given how perceptive Leon could be about things, it didn't surprise him that he picked up on it. And given that Xiaolang's pretty much been shut in his room since they got back from the party...

... well. There wasn't any point being cagey about it. It's not like it was a huge secret anymore. (Although he does switch over to Cantonese for the sake of a bit more privacy)]

[ Now he's curious about the circumstances surrounding Mio speaking in Cantonese to Xiaolang. As much as he wants to ask how it happened, he's much more focused on the next text that he sends him.

Upon reading the next message, he's surprised by what he sees. Of course he figured the moment that Xiaolang switched over to Cantonese, it had to be something serious that he didn't want others hearing.

... Now things were beginning to make sense. He was wondering why he had locked himself in his room ever since the party. He figured that he was either really focused on his homework, or something serious was going on. Unfortunately, his gut instinct was telling him it was the latter and looks like he was right. ]
