You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects. But to back up a step - have you seen any names you recognize on the board so far. Friends, family? Trusted people you know won't be yanking your chain?

Unfortunately, that's because I am.

This app is called Retrospec and it's run by a company of the same name. They oversee something they call unreality, but the gist of that is managing ... magic, basically. Things like people shrinking down to the size of dolls, fog with monsters in it, and magic wolves. Everyone who is on the app (all of us) will eventually get memories of some other life, sometimes with supernatural powers of their own. These are more or less a past life, again according to Retrospec. People who aren't on the app aren't and what's more can't become aware of any of this.
