So it's been more than a few months since I offered this, but last year I gave a gun safety class at DeadEye. If you've gotten a firearm from Retrospec and want to make sure you're handling it properly I'd be happy to give you a few tips and show you how to use the range if you want to practice. I'm usually at DeadEye on Wednesday evenings, but if another evening or Saturday would work better for you, just let me know. Also, I ran across a string of numbers recently and don't even know where to start trying to figure out what they're for. So any suggestions as to what they could be would be welcome. They were hidden inside a piece of jewelry, to give at least some context. [ 139 607 766 ]

That's more or less what I was thinking. A number that wouldn't change. Though just because it is grouped differently doesn't mean it's wrong? It could be a SSN. Though, if it is, even if I could get into the SSN database, it would be the wrong person.

Actually. There really isn't any reason for me to try to figure out what this number is. Even if I figure it out, it's not like I can go to were it leads.

Mm. Also. Why would it be an American SSN? Ryuuzaki worked in Japan, right? Grah, this doesn't make sense.

You want the answer anyway. Nothing wrong with that. Even if you can't go there, if it tells you a place, that's an answer to something. This is a mystery to be figured out.

There's that too. But I don't really know enough about Japan myself to guess what a nine-digit number could come from.

That's pretty much it, that it's a mystery. And I like mysteries and puzzles, or I wouldn't work as a CSI.
