hey! a while back at the beginning of the month i talked about getting people together to start forming a training coalition/volunteer crisis response team or whatever (this thing) and then this whole month went completely stupid as usual.
so anyway i still want to do that! i know everybody who replied thought it was a good idea and i am hoping to do the first meeting maybe in the first or second week of may and we just hope that the city is a lot less annoying next month.

maybe may 6th or something?

until then if you did not talk to me about this already and you're interested in training and organizing and being part of a crisis response team let me know.

if you already did, do me a favor and fill out the following so i can sort everybody? that would be helpful.

other notes: i can stay in a shift for an hour up until now. can also shift up to three times in a row if i’ve got the energy.

we really need to do more research on your powers dude.
first aid is important. think you could teach hand to hand if it was necessary?
you're getting stronger. that alone is pretty exciting to hear.

stronger, but i know i can do more. all i know about hardening is that i used it to plug in caves, and that hole. and elliot was the one who told me i could do that before i remembered anything. i wouldn’t mind running extra tests.
mom taught me everything i know about emergencies. i could teach both if you think it’s a good idea.

if you want to run tests (which is a good idea) call me and dave and we'll help out again no big deal. if we're all getting more abilities and have no idea what they do that's going to be a huge headache.
i also think it would be a good idea to teach first aid and basic defense, yes. we have a lot of non-combatants volunteering and i think it's great! but i would like to arm them with the chance to also arm themselves.

dunno how good of a teacher i am but i’ve helped a few people at that fight club. they just need to be okay with throwing.

awesome. you know our schedules by now so we will make it work.
if you're teaching wouldn't it be worth considering you'd be a better teacher if you practiced teaching? i have never been to that fight club but if we work with them or just hone special abilities...we can figure it out.
are you going to be throwing people?

i’ll work on the teaching. my sister’s great at it.
how else do you think people learn how to throw people three times their size, john?

and i don't know, i have never had to throw or be thrown. i was just guessing.

i was going to say "can you even pick me up" but i think i should maybe ask myself that.
i am trying to convince dave to let us buy a big bouncy castle.
otherwise i think we can set up something in our back yard for hand to hand training.

no idea but yes i would buy one. why not? it's not bad for a training grounds, i was teaching your boyfriend how to fall in one.

free fall?

yeah more or less. having him jump and teaching him the best ways to land without hurting himself. elliot's not really a combatant but i also do not want to see him hurt if he's out in the field.
