Seriously, don't. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project.

Dante's hunch was that the Swamp Witch in Bosuma was involved, or at least that she knows more about what's going on than she should. Still at large, last I checked.

I think someone who is calling themselves a witch had the ability to make people forget all of their non-Retrospec-granted memories. The opposite of what happens when we forget the app.

Magic or no, there's some kind of bullshit happening there.

If one of them is in custody though, why hasn't anyone tried to talk to them more?

Hadn't followed up on it yet, but also I don't actually have any jurisdiction in Pesgare. And I can't explain to the Chief why I would need her to sign off on some special dispensation. I can try it, now, but I'll admit I dropped the ball on that one.

People react weird when they find out I'm a cop. Either they feel like they can't tell me anything anymore, or they get antagonistic, or that they have to tiptoe around me. Something like that.

100% honesty, I think you're the most powerful person in the city, Retrospec-given-powers-wise. And you keep your cool in a dangerous situation, which can make all the difference.
