Don't bother the techs. Seriously, don't. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project. Okay. So. The layers have to do with how we see the world around us. Basically.

Think of the layers like the orbits of the planets in the solar system. Except instead of distance, each ring means you can see more and do more.

Something like that, yes. Though I don't know if depth is an appropriate comparison. But yes, that is the basic idea.

Yes. They can only see the first layer. Once you get the app, you can see the second layer as well.
