Don't bother the techs.

Seriously, don't. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project.

I don't have a really good update for you guys, but bear with us. Please?

thats certainly the part id like to know more about
how are they able to implant these memories in our minds?

they can't drop off memories the way they drop off items in our mailboxes
so it's probably through some technology that we don't know about...

or, it could be through simple brainwashing, mind control, you name it
they've already shown us that they can erase and replace the memories of non-app users, so why not us?

if theyre going that far why not brainwash us all into believing what retrospec says as well?
with that kind of technology seems silly to bother trying to convince people
clearly theyre not afraid to use it either

they once said that they were trying to fix the glitches on our behalf (take that with a grain of salt, mind you)
so maybe they're interested in us as people — you know, like test subjects?
i'm pretty sure we wouldn't be very people-like if we were all completely brainwashed

like a weird sort of social experiment?
makes as much sense as anything else i guess

yup! just like that
there's more than enough of us here for a "sample"
and sometimes, a few people end up being immune to whatever changes retrospec wants to make that month

itd be a terrible setup for an experiment though
even ignoring how massively illegal and unethical it is
theyre changing too many things at a time to figure anything out

if they were just testing our reactions to different things, it'd make sense... but it's probably a lot deeper than that.
when they ask us to help them find stuff, fight stuff, or some combination of the two
we usually end up using those abilities that we have.
could they be interested in seeing how we use them?

then why even have people without abilities here?

maybe for their.......intelligence
or to see if they develop abilities??
anyone's guess is as good as mine

yeah thats the part where that theory falls apart
if they were experimenting theres got to be some reason why theyve picked everyone they did
