I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project. it's always gotta look bad so the big fight at the end is more fun

i always wondered if they'd get tired or bored of superheroing, though...
