And this one has household cleaning items! Detergent's immediately on your left, dryer sheets are next to them, and the other side has sprays and disinfectants — but that stuff doesn't matter, I guess. We'll have to pick out which detergent's the best for your clothes, too.

Whoever told you that was right — these are good for beginners. After you put your clothes in the washer, you just pop one of these in, and you're good to go! You don't have to pour out liquid detergent, or anything.
