I doubt the layers have or will collapse again considering there are still colors outside my window and the NPC's are still here. This is clearly going o be something different.

How exactly do you expect us to keep track of people when Retrospec is messing with our minds and changing things? I know something happened last month to my memories but I don't know what. Now if I can't even prevent/prepare some world manipulating company from messing with my brain, I fail to see how I could possibly prepare for anything worse.

Even if we were to place all the blame on Retrospec - which I don't - you do realize that corporations like Retrospec aren't invincible, don't you? I've brought down things like that in my past life, and if absolutely needs be I don't see why it can't be done again.

An incredibly angry, very determined person, to be honest.

In terms of profession, I was a scientist. A researcher working on a cure for ebola shortly after it was discovered, specifically.

I had my reasons for being discontent, to put it gently. I found out about something my employer did that didn't sit well with me, and as such I took down his corporation.

Brute force. Not a terribly elegant solution, but an effective one.

As for the rest, let's say that there were some extremely unethical experiments done on children.

I never claimed that anything I was doing was heroic back then, and I'm certainly not going to start now.

Back then I considered it judgement.

Sometimes that right has to be claimed, particularly from those who - I'll remind you - feel they have the right to perform heinous experiments on children.

You couldn't just call the proper authorities?

It was a large enough corporation - with more than enough power - to ensure that it couldn't be touched by normal means. They had more than enough people both on the police force and within the government for that sort of thing to be impossible.

I won't claim that what I did was right, or that I was a good person. But I'm not going to apologize for that particular action.

I've considered. Though for the time being, I'm more or less stable - as much as one can be, at any rate, with the past life that I'm remembering.

My past life was a different story, and certainly could have benefited from...something, at any rate, I think he was a bit beyond therapy. But it isn't like that now.

Both of those are things that occurred in my past life and have no real bearing on my present situation. I'm willing to discuss my past life with anyone. My medical history in my current life is clearly a different matter altogether and no one's business but my own.
