I'm assuming that others also received a word, mine is 'beta!' I'm still uncertain what that really means, but maybe we should do a tally and go from there!
Anyway, I do have two other questions that I wish to ask! So, I'm going to ask!
Question 1: Has anyone heard of the name 'Kiyotaka Ishida?' I assure you that is not my name, I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru, but I've been getting strange messages about him! From what I've gathered, he's a college student with blonde white hair.
Question 2: How would you define a 'moral compass?' Is it really possible to be the um, best in that? An ultimate moral compass??

Well, I always ensure that I have my balanced meals and enough rest for the day! Just in my spare time, I could be helping others, including those around me!

But I don't think you need to sacrifice your life to help others, how would you find happiness, if you were only concerned about others?
Can you imagine...doing something for so long that you just do it out of instinct? You don't barley think twice about it and BAM! You already did?
I imagine that's how thieves might be too, if they had to steal for soo long, could they just simply stop? After all, they could find themselves being poor again and that skill, for better or for worse, kept them alive.

I believe that people can stop a bad habit if they try hard enough. Like those that manage to quit smoking or something similar to that! The road may be difficult, but it's entirely possible.

I of course want to help people when I can, but when does it become too much? Or how do we know when our help does more harm then good despite our intentions??
Yeah, it is. I just don't think we could understand how hard it is unless we were in their shoes. For better or worse, they are alive because they stole, or broke the law just to survive...not for some fancy stuff...
ya kinda get what I'm saying?
no subject
Wouldn't people just tell you when you're not helping at all? I think that's a good indication!
I guess I understand...

I'm sorry that I'm not exactly helping with your question, I wish there was an easy answer I could just give ya.
or a answer for that matter
no subject
No, it's okay! I thank you for your input! I realize now that there's not a simple answer to this. Maybe it's a sign that I need to figure it out for myself.

For me, I figure if you are doing alright then that's good enough. If your an angel that's even better and something to inspire others to be good.
And hope I am being helpful, I'd hate to think I'm just wasting your time.

For him, it was being dedicated to his public morals committee and enforcing the rules, but since that can't be applied to me, I've been trying to figure out a way to still be really moral!
Because my friends have titles and they're currently living up to them in their own way! I wanted to do the same!

I don't know how I feel about our other selves, but I think it's neat that you found something from your other self that you liked and are trying to emulate it.
Though, I don't think its a bad thing if we were to deviate from those...after all I'm pretty sure all of us have gone through things our other-selves wouldn't have.
no subject
That's true, but I'm certain that his life was far more difficult than mine.
no subject
If you always do that, can anyone ever say your immoral?
That's his life though, if you remember it, then I guess the only thing you can do is learn from it. But I don't think you should judge yourself based on that one.
I don't know to much about mine, although I assume he is one tough(possibly crazy)customer. My 1st memory was being smacked by an elephant, set on fire and slamming into a wall, getting up, fully intending to fight it.

[Ishimaru can't help but squint at his phone for a good minute before texting back the next part.]
What sort of life did your past self had?!
no subject
My other self, I honestly don't have too many memories about him.
I was part of something called the Fog troop, no idea if they were good guys or bad guys. Just that he was passionate about defending them. Got his ass handed to him by some purple haired guy who was a legend.
Other then random fragments, that's all I really got. I have been on the app for...two, three months maybe?
no subject
Are you interested in knowing more about him?
no subject
And yeah, it would be nice to know more about him. But I'm far more interested in knowing more about his fire magic and how I can use it myself. Because I can use that to influence the here and now. Ya know what I mean?
no subject
[It's his first assumption anyway. For the longest time, he wanted powers so that he could protect others.]
no subject
[Considering he just figured out he loves his adopted family(of 2 years), small is an understatement ]

Maybe some back alleyway that's made of concrete and brick? Those can't catch on fire right?
