So here's the thing…

We have a lot of work left to do. Those of you who ventured down below got a taste of what we're looking at and hopefully that means we can make better preparations. I'm working on opening a new portal based on your energy readings and getting it to stabilize itself so you aren't stuck down there longer than you have to be. May take a few days, but I'm hoping to get a map drawn up, too.

How many of you have been out to Magatus? You might wanna compare notes…the influence started spreading even further. It's better to bring everything and everyone out there back to the city where we can put up forcefields and I can monitor from here.

So what am I saying? I need two teams, a rescue team and an exploration team. Take some time to decide, figure out your skills, organize and arm yourselves. Assignments will go out when you're ready, and when I'm ready.

Sacrifice people to create Dark Djinns? Like genies? That IS really dark magic, that's terrible.

Oh, I hope he didn't. But I don't know how much world traveling he's done. Or how he'd go about doing it.

Yep, dark genies. This was also a FORMER ally of Al-Tharman, not even themselves showing up yet. Those things can be HUGE, and of course, they would be hard to kill, because of course, they regenerate if you don't one-shot them.

So, they scare me, a lot and I REALLY hope they died with my world.

Okay then! So I think I would need at least double or triple the amount of blue pepsi, we are talking about an entire evacuation, plus the thing doubles as a healing potion in case some people get hurt we could use it to help them.

Wow. Yeah, I can't blame you for being scared of them. They sound terrifying, and really not something I wanna come across.

Haha, okay. Yeah! I know Rean. We share memories of the same world.

So, does he match the other him you remember?

I never ran into someone from the same world as me, so I'm really curious about how different we are from our other selves.

[I know, as if he doesn't already have trouble sleeping as is.]

Well, they have a lot of similarities, sure! Both Reans are really nice and caring guys.

But I try not to compare them together too much. I know some people don't match their past selves at all, and it's not really fair to hold them to some other person that's not around anymore. At least, that's how I feel.

Of course it's not fair! I'm just curious! For me our past lives are just that.

Another life, what we may have done, is back then. We have a new life here, and if we can remember another life time's worth of experience, how we felt and acted. We can learn from them and hopefully make this one better.

Aha, I see. Sorry, I've met a lot of people who put a lot of stock in their past lives.

But I agree with your thinking Al. I don't mind my past memories, but I do wanna lead a better life.

If you even have a complete picture anyway. I sort of have an idea about mine.

Born in poverty prince, was taken in, palace didn't like him, king died, he ran away, eventually came back, lead a group of thieves to overthrow the monarchy to save the starving people, goes to war at some point? I assume maybe save the world from all the Dark Djinns with help, I assume.

Cause of death, his mentor being a dumbass while on vacation and egged a flying mermaid to show off her magic...flooding the entire freaking island he was chilling in.

There are some memories I have no idea where they belong and there are some blanks and guesses but, that is more or less what I think my last life was.

Holy crap...yours sounds like a real story! Like I'd read in fiction or something. Shame about the death though...that's really how your past self died?

Mine wasn't that exciting at all. His dad was in the army and he had an older sister too. Wanted to go to a music academy, but he got sent to a military school instead. And then he attended lessons there until a civil war broke out, and then my memories are either him hiding from soldiers, or trying to help out civilians.

I mean, I guess there's magic, but magic seemed pretty common there so I don't think his was anything special.

I have a friend who writes and she is trying to get me to do the same! I figure try to write my other life? Although I'm only writing poems for now since, like I said, I'm not 100% sure(that and I don't think I write well enough to put a novel together).

I saw the Tsunami coming in, thank goodness I didn't have to remember actually drowning. So could be a chance, but, Tsunami...

Magic is common in your world? What kind is there? I think mine is either, Djinns or mages. Alladin and I both had fire magic, which works out really well actually.

Also a civil war? Ouch...and all you wanted to do was play music, depending on the end that might be some inspirational stuff right there.

Awww hey, don't knock yourself! Poems are a good way to write too! Really most song lyrics are just poems with a beat and melody to them.

Welp, tsunami is bad. But I'll keep my fingers crossed! I've remembered some really bad pickles too, but it usually turned out okay!

Magic's pretty common yeah. They even use this magic energy to power things like we do electricity. I think it's mostly elemental magic? But there's other stuff...but I wouldn't call myself an expert on it.

Yeah, fingers crossed my other self gets through it. Don't remember the end of it yet.

I guess, but I still have a ways to go though...

Poems don't have to rhyme. That's only necessary for certain types.
Just keep working at it! No one is born a great writer or composer. You have to practice.

Not that different. People go to school and work. There's just you know, monsters and magic class.

Oh, that kinda sounds similar to my brother's world that I visited once! For creatures, they actually had pixies in a cage!

I don't know about anticlimactic, but I can say it sucks, cause imagine going to an island, and the first thing you see...

is a giant freaking sea monster attacking the island and everyone is happy and cheerful about it!

Pixies are annoying, they got out of their cage and buzzed around and threw school supplies at me...plus it was in the same classroom as a creature that mimics your worst fear, I was tense as hell the moment I walked in and I had no idea why so...imagine my reaction when these little flying things pop out of nowhere laughing and throwing things at me and there were A LOT OF THEM.

Yeah! Crazy right? Everyone was clapping and cheering when that sea monster showed up, like...it was showing up to a stage or something...it was massive, blue, serpent-like, pink coral was all over its body, red eyes, and I had a VERY good look at it at the top of a cliff.

Pretty much every creature in my memories have creeped me out or kept me up at some point or another.

Even bunnies...cute little bunnies have been ruined for me.

I know! I didn't SEE it, it was inside a giant cupboard and it was shaking.

I can't emphasize the bad vibes I got the second I walked in that room and it's A SCHOOL too.

I don't know...if it was their version of Sea World, that would explain a lot.
