So here's the thing… We have a lot of work left to do. Those of you who ventured down below got a taste of what we're looking at and hopefully that means we can make better preparations. I'm working on opening a new portal based on your energy readings and getting it to stabilize itself so you aren't stuck down there longer than you have to be. May take a few days, but I'm hoping to get a map drawn up, too. How many of you have been out to Magatus? You might wanna compare notes…the influence started spreading even further. It's better to bring everything and everyone out there back to the city where we can put up forcefields and I can monitor from here. So what am I saying? I'm more concerned over what I saw in the sixth layer. Last year, during the mission to Respatrum, a group I was with came across a similar sort of thing underneath the region... it was a mirror version of the village above us, but it was abandoned. I can't help but wonder if it's connected or not.

I had a vicious dream of this fellow after coming in contact with that monstrosity of an eye in the city. It is a Fire Eye, a demon that is said to boil one's eyes if they were to see it, so no one dared to lay their sight on it. However, this didn't deter a woman's curiosity of seeing the demon with her own eyes. One night, she left her door ajar, waiting for the demon to come. However, when the rumbling sound started, she grew afraid and prayed to the gods. The gods replied with a divine wind that extinguished the demon and saved the woman.
