So here's the thing…

We have a lot of work left to do. Those of you who ventured down below got a taste of what we're looking at and hopefully that means we can make better preparations. I'm working on opening a new portal based on your energy readings and getting it to stabilize itself so you aren't stuck down there longer than you have to be. May take a few days, but I'm hoping to get a map drawn up, too.

How many of you have been out to Magatus? You might wanna compare notes…the influence started spreading even further. It's better to bring everything and everyone out there back to the city where we can put up forcefields and I can monitor from here.

So what am I saying? I need two teams, a rescue team and an exploration team. Take some time to decide, figure out your skills, organize and arm yourselves. Assignments will go out when you're ready, and when I'm ready.

I can use a sword now, though?

Then how will you use that sword to its fullest, little one? There is strength in you to wield such a weapon. I had a friend who did! Although his blade doubled as a flute.

Isn't using a sword more like physical strength?

But I guess if you mean, like, having the strength to go fight... I'm still not 100% sure about that, but I've fought a little so far.

Also wait, how can a flute be a blade?

It depends on the blade! But most require you to be nimble, and swift with your limbs.

I’m not entirely sure, I’m afraid! It is something I recall from the first time I met him. It would snap into itself, and a light would emerge from the flute. It cut like a true blade.

That sounds like a lightsaber

I guess my past self was pretty fast, too!

More than diamonds falling off his person with every step! We would often scuffle every time we met, he was very mysterious and would have fun making suspicious remarks,, but I loved him. He was a very good man, and a cherished friend.

Sounds like an interesting guy. I don't know about sparkling, but maybe I could learn a thing or two about swords from him to deal with those creepy eyes!
