No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Characters who have been in game for more than one month will find they can change their profile pictures; newcomers are locked into their first choice. At various points throughout the day users will be sent images of themselves from behind, regardless of where they are. There doesn't seem to be any way to catch whoever might be taking and sending these, however, especially since being alone in a room doesn't seem to be a deterrent.

Hitori Togusa Did you try that experiment last month, to stay off the app for a week? It didn't do any good. The guy that was running it still had problems.
Hitori Togusa Which bothers me because it suggests there is some other factor that is uniting all of us, and Retrospec is just, like Jim suggests, a way to keep tabs on us.

Hitori Togusa Although it didn't happen during the strike, I've also gotten reports of people getting injuries, in the same manner of randomness as the physical changes. Scars, at least.

Hitori Togusa From my understanding? No. No sudden medical emergencies of that nature.
Hitori Togusa If you experience something like that, or if you want to make sure my answer is right, we've got Dr. Lucian Trevelyan and Dr. Grell Sutcliffe on here, who have been examining people.

Hitori Togusa Yes and no? I think that might be outside of their reach. Everything they've replaced still has to have all the same functionality as what came before it.
