Welcome to Retrospec™, the last social media network you will ever need. You are one of the few selected to test this exciting new platform based on our cutting-edge algorithms. Less than two hundred invitations have gone out, and membership is not currently open to the public. However, we hope you will come to see how useful Retrospec™ is, given time. We have for your use a variety of features such as text, voice, video, and image posts. We encourage you to explore our many options.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. As a reminder, everything besides uploading a profile picture and information was locked until this post. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

Sounds cold.

[Like how does one respond to that???]

You should probably avoid falling into any mystical power giving snowy banks then. I don't think Freeze Ray would appreciate the competition.

Ha! I don't need mystic powers! I've got my fists.

Tell me more about Captain Might.

[Ryoga no.]

Well his name pretty much explains his powers. He's super strong and he uses his strength to protect people from villains. He once carried an entire train full of people to safety when the villain Topsy Turvy tried to blow up the tracks.

I have most of his comics if you ever want to borrow them.
momentaryspring: (Ryoga: why you...)

Good. It's a man's duty to help those in need, even if it means lifting trains with your bare hands.

And what kind of craven would try to blow up railway tracks?! Is there no end to this villainy?

I think so to! Everyone should try and help others out. Even with smaller stuff.

Well in an earlier issues the people at the train station refused service to Topsy Turvy for being a villain. And it made him really mad.

But I don't want to spoil anymore for you if you have an interest in reading them.

Hmm. I'll pass for now. Busy reading about Freeze Ray.

But surely a villain can't complain about not being able to ride public transportation. He'd probably shove old ladies and take up all the seats.
heroforall: ([tsuyu] embarrassed)

Oh alright. But the offer stands.

Yeah, but Topsy Turvy is a bit of a hothead. I don't think he really thought it through.

Why is he called Topsy Turvy, anyway? Is that his theme or something? Does he attack people with tops?
heroforall: (peaceful)

[personal profile] heroforall 2017-02-01 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no. His main ability is his confusion ray.

It makes people disoriented and confused.

At the very least it should be to turn everything upside down. You know, in a dire situation, he can change the tide of battle.

Maybe that's too heroic
