I have a kitty cat! he's white and fluffy and so cuddly. his name is Polaris.

I do! I actually took a few astronomy classes up here at the university.
You know the observatory has some free observation nights. If you haven't been to them before I mean.

I wish to study astronomy too... that's so exciting, I'm almost jealous!
but I've been to a few? not lately though... thank you for reminding me! I want to go again.

How old are you? Maybe you can start studying it soon?
And no problem! I still go to them a lot. Sometimes I don't have time but they're my favourite way to relax.

15! isn't high school sophomore too early? I have friends who are taking classes but I don't want to rush things!
isn't it nice? it's so hard to see the stars because of the light pollution without any help, so the observatory is truly a gift. I love it! Mama would take me sometimes.

True enough! You should do things on your own time. But tell you what.
If I see you around you can have my old textbook. It's only a year old so it shouldn't be too out of date.
And it's in good condition! Minus like... a lot of highlighting.
But yeah it's really hard to see the stars sometimes around here! I guess that's the price you pay for living in the city.

it is, you're right, but I still love recollé so much. since it's all that I know, I can't imagine leaving it.

You don't have to repay me if you don't want to but I guess a small thing would be okay! But only if you really want to.
Me too. I've been all over the world but Recollé is special somehow. I just feel really at home here. I wouldn't want to move away.

that's how I feel too.... but I don't really have the same experience. where have you traveled to? can you tell me more?

Aw jeez you're sweet too! Well uh are you going to founder's day? I could give you the book there somewhere, like we could meet up, and we could get a snack or something? Your treat. Only if you want!
But let's see man... I've been everywhere it feels like! One of my favourite places was Hyderabad, India. The city is really pretty and they have some really famous bazaars there.
Like you could buy anything from a stall it's really cool.
Also the food was really, really good.
Oh and speaking of open air markets like that the ones in Taiwan are great. The night markets?
It's so fun to walk around late at night shopping and seeing so many people doing the same thing.

but I can't even imagine what that experience would be like.... it sounds wonderful! I've never gotten to travel out of Recollé so I love to hear other people's stories.

It's definitely way different. I really like traveling but honestly I really like coming home, too, you know? The nicest hotel can't compare to your own room!
But yeah I have! I've actually been to St. Petersburg during the winter nights festival.
I might still have pictures around here somewhere of it I'm sure.
But it's a big holiday. There's ballet and music and carnivals and a huuuge firework display over the river. There was even a fake pirate battle when I saw it.
It was really pretty and cool.
