The more they post without thought, the more information about them is most likely being compiled. Even so, the result is theirs to handle. I would like to believe they are at least conscious of this fact.

On a more important matter, I have read you are attempting to figure this out as well. How is that progressing?

Considering they already managed to put our real names for all to see, I'm assuming there's not a whole lot we can hide at this point. For now, I think it's better to stop worrying about what can't be changed. Besides, we already know each other's names at this point, so might as well become pals and maybe try working together or something.

Well, I've talked to a few people and having them look into things. I'll get back to you after I find out what they learn. I'll be honest, though. It's not exactly looking up on this end.

There is always something new to learn about someone. But I agree, remaining calm and securing a cooperative environment would be a preferable beginning if we desire to get anywhere.

I see... It is the same for me. No matter what I attempted on this, nothing is working. So I will appreciate the smallest contribution, even if it may seem insignificant.

While you do have a point, I can scarcely blame people for being upset. It is rather frightening to have ones identity on display against one's will with no means to change it... I feel that it is only natural to want to corroborate with others in a similar situation.

It is good to see someone making attempts to unravel the mystery of how this application came to be on peoples' phones without their knowledge, however. A level, proactive head such as yours is what's needed in times like this.

You've got a point as well, but isn't it counterproductive to make excuses?

I will say though, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders. If you could help keep everyone calm, we might manage to get through this whole thing without too many internet casualties.

I do not see them as excuses. Panic clouds judgement, and while I am certain that not all of those effected are weeping and tearing at their hair while chaos reigns, many are simply seeking a way to allay their own fears and uncertainties. It is true that hand-wringing will not bring about change, but seeking comfort is not so bad or unnatural a thing.

Thank you for the kind words. I am doing all that I can within my limited scope of influence, but the real heroes of the day are those who are willing to focus on the task at hand. I know that others have likely asked you this, but have you made any headway in your investigation? And is there anything that I can do to assist you?

well, the problem is that there is no other way to contact these people
there is no feedback button, and they are looking to gather information about our experience with the app
the louder you are, the more likely someone is to hear you!
