Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

How else are you going to learn? That's how I studied English, just kept on asking questions until I got it.

Exactly. I'm Korean so it's the same on one level but a little different too. I mean formal Korean is different then familiar Korean and I'm not sure if Japanese has it as well.

no you're absolutely right! just, in my defense, I wasn't looking to learn Korean when I opened this app haha but now's a good a time as ever I guess! yeah we have different terms for formal and casual but a lot of it is in the suffixes too like I could call you I dare you-kun and you'd know we're cool, or I could use -sama and you'd know you're the highest tier of person to have ever dared me to do something on this unwillingly downloaded app

Well, I wasn't expecting to actually start teaching it either, so we're in the same ship there.

I think it might be the same but it's more of layers of respect and distance.

Like I can say 'Gentle person who has given this lowly one a monthly subscription to evil cupcakes' or I could say 'Hey, kid who sends me cupcake newsletters'.

wow so not a kid o(≧□≦)o but that's super interesting! I never knew that about the Korean language, kinda makes me curious what other things there might be in common also, they aren't evil cupcakes!!! they're delicious and full of sugary happiness

It's a general term, kind of like how some people call everything a dude.

We even have a super formal version that we use for like royalty or some such.; Usually I used it to get Father mad, especially at three in the morning when I wasn't at home.

But they have to be evil since it's part of your plot to send me sugar and tip you!
