Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

Apologies, I thought formality would be more acceptable considering the thread topic. The best practices .PDF would be very useful. I'm aware of the technical aspects of how this works, but the cultural practices of Internet users evade me.

I have Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and everything else I need. Why would I care about being on some 200 person social experiment app? Sounds fantastic.

I know what all of these social media sites are of course, but I've never personally used one. Maybe I can learn how, but this app looks too much like some sort of spyware. My coding experience can't even help me remove it, so it must be extremely advanced technology!

If they manage to crack this open they deserve a pay raise. Or probably work for the company that wrote this app.

I've been talking with service techs at the phone store and there's not one of them who can make the app appear when they're looking at my phone. It's gone. But then it's not gone when I get my phone back. It's the most high tech game of peekaboo ever and it's annoying as heck.

That's seemingly impossible. An app that reacts to a visual stimulus without a proper prompt? It would have to mean that there's a censor within not unlike those that sense facial shapes. Recognition software.

But then how would it know to hide from others? There must be some objective criteria that it's using if that's the methodology.

I have no idea. I don't understanding coding, and I haven't tried, so I have no idea what could possibly make something work like that. I just know it's been doing that for me all day.

Yuri, this may be a big favor to ask, but keep track of anyone who can't recognize the device. Whatever's within your comfort zone. If someone can use that data to figure out what stimulus it's reacting to based on who can see it and who can't, part of the puzzle may be solved.

Okay, so now I'm going to go around asking people to hold my phone. Am I also getting into street brawls? Oh, or having my phone stolen! I appreciate science like anyone else, but malware infected or not, that's the only phone I get.

Just so you know my intentions! It's not like I've got a plan made up to find these people, question them and examine their facial structures and lineage for clues as to why they're selected or at least fall outside of our own potential exclusive criteria.

And Yuri, as your teacher I advise that you don't get into any fights or put yourself into a position to get into any fights. It can put you out of commission and bruises aren't exactly attractive.
