Welcome to Retrospec™, the last social media network you will ever need. You are one of the few selected to test this exciting new platform based on our cutting-edge algorithms. Less than two hundred invitations have gone out, and membership is not currently open to the public. However, we hope you will come to see how useful Retrospec™ is, given time. We have for your use a variety of features such as text, voice, video, and image posts. We encourage you to explore our many options.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. As a reminder, everything besides uploading a profile picture and information was locked until this post. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Oddly, profile pictures still cannot be swapped out at this time, so hopefully you took a good one.

[Don't mind Mikoto right now, he's just going to be a blushing ball of red because a pretty girl was talking to him. Not only that, she is complimenting him??? Like, he couldn't believe this was reality.

HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO OR SAY RIGHT NOW.]

Your kind words are too much! and Yeah I did! If you'd like I could... teach you how to make them? I'm sure they'll look fabulous on your dogs.

It really is!

Like I heard that you can't escape it even if you have a new phone. I've never heard of an application that was as powerful as this one! It's crazy. A advertising strategy sounds about right tbh. At least... it doesn't seem malicious? I was worried that it would be!

[ If Luna realizes his bashfulness, she makes no indication of it. She does note the relative delay in his reply, but thinks nothing of it. ]

I am simply being honest. Your cat looks so regal, like a queen on holiday. And I would very much enjoy that, thank you! I have not woven flower crowns since I was a girl...

My phone has been functioning normally since its appearance, but... Uninstalling the app does absolutely nothing. It simply keeps coming back. I'm not well-versed enough in technology to understand how this could be, but... It reminds me quite a bit of that time when Facebook forced all of us to download their Messenger app. Just much more insistent.

If she could hear your kind compliments, she'd be elated. She acts like a queen sometimes tbh. You are welcome!! It's quite easy once you get the feel for it and I'm honored to show you.

you can't even uninstall it? good god, I've never heard of a program that could do something like that. I'm not technologically advanced either, but this is something on a whole new level. I wonder if Recolle is the only place that this application is avaliable at? oh yeah! I remember when facebook did something like that. this definitely seems much more extreme and makes me wonder who is behind this.

As she should. Cats are elegant creatures by nature, with the grace and bearing befitting of royalty. I am afraid that my weaving ability has fallen into disuse as of late, but I'm very appreciative of the offer. I vow to be a willing and able student!

It simply reinstalls itself after a short period. I'm sure that one could simply not use it, but thus far no one has reported any ill effects from having it on their phones. I know next to nothing of Retrospec as a company, but one would think that they'd provide their user base with the bare minimum of information with regards to who they are. It feels almost as if the product supercedes all else, and while I can see its usefulness, its very nature strikes me as unsavory.
