who else feels like their "past self" should have remained dead? i can't be the only one.

i suppose i should be grateful i'm not so screwed up i think murder is the optimal solution compared to, i don't know, negotiation. or even imprisonment. [Why couldn't this guy have just taken prisoners! That would have been fine. A whole village in prison is at least a hundred times better than completely dead.]

i hate having to think about this. it was bad enough when the most reasonable guess was reincarnation, but the idea that we were actually those people once just makes me detest everything.
